Why fishes die in new aquarium
why fishes die in new aquarium. Fish die in aquarium, reasons of dying fishes in aquarium.
most fish who die of overfeeding do not actually suffer from any sort of gastrointestinal problem. In fact, the major issue is unrelated to the actual over-ingestion of food. Rather, problems occur when excess food is left uneaten and accumulates as waste in the aquarium. see more here: https://goo.gl/BVIU4G
If a tank is overcrowded there will be so much ammonia, that the bacteria cannot handle it all, and the ammonia and possibly nitrite levels will spike and cause your fish to become sick or even die
Just give the tank time. The cycling process usually takes six to eight weeks. After about eight weeks, your ammonia and Nitrite levels should be acceptable (about trace levels), and you can add more fish.
The purpose of the filter on your aquarium is to remove excess food, decaying organic matter, free-floating particulate, dangerous chemicals, and the fish’s waste products from the water. The fish excrete waste constantly as they swim around in the water.
Ecological hypoxia (oxygen depletion) is one of the most common natural causes of fish kills. The hypoxic event may be brought on by factors such as algae blooms, droughts, high temperatures and thermal pollution.
