What are fungi? – The Fungi Kingdom for kids

Educational video for children to learn what fungi are and how we classify them. The fungal kingdom, also called Fungi Kingdom, is one of the five kingdoms into which all living things are divided. Note that fungi are not animals or plants. They are living organisms because they carry out the vital functions of interaction, reproduction and nutrition by themselves. Some fungi are unicellular microorganisms, while other fungi are multicellular. In this video, children will discover what the structure of fungi looks like (one or many eukaryotic cells), where we find them (in food, on our skin, lungs or even in antibiotic substances), how they spread (mainly through contact) and how they feed (they are heterotrophs, meaning they feed on other living beings).
