Use pure organic ingredients when making your skincare products. You can use organic #turmeric powder but if you are fair-skinned and want to avoid staining, use wild turmeric also known as Kasturi Manjal, non-edible turmeric that is specially used for #skincare which doesn’t stain your skin. You can start with 1/4 teaspoon organic or wild turmeric powder and increase if your skin is comfortable with using turmeric. Incase the turmeric still stains your skin then use a sugar scrub or a face toner to remove the stain. Face masks shouldn’t be applied daily, use the mask 2-3 times a week.
Kindly use 100% pure aloe vera gel that is free of paraben, sulfate, color, and fragrance. You can use fresh aloe vera gel from aloe leaf but you need to make a fresh batch every day before you apply. If you don’t want to use aloe vera gel then use natural greek yogurt.
SUBSTITUTE – Jojoba and grapeseed oil are the best oils for acne-prone skin but you can substitute them to any other oils that are best suited for your skin type. If you don’t have essential oil kindly don’t use it, however, tea tree oil is an amazing remedy to fight acne-causing bacteria.
Shelf Life – The #turmericmask can be stored in the refrigerator in an airtight container for 2-3 weeks.
