Ingredients:
For Dough
200 grams Refined flour
75 grams Butter
40 grams Castor Sugar
Water as required
For Filling
200 ml Treacle
50 ml Fresh cream
50 grams Almond powder
3 Bread slices, crumbed
1 Whole Egg
A pinch of salt
Method of preparation:
For Tart
In a bowl add refined flour, butter, castor sugar, water and knead it into a dough.
Keep it aside to rest for 15-20 minutes.
Move out the dough, pat it on a working table.
Take a portion of the dough and roll it into 1cm thickness.
Transfer it to a tart mold, press it carefully on all sides and ensure the thickness is even.
With the help of a sharp knife chop of all the extra edges.
Keep it inside a refrigerator for 10 minutes.
Line the tart with a butter paper and fill it with grains.
Move out the rice and our tart base is ready.
Fill it with the treacle filling, spread it evenly.
Bake it for 12 minutes 200°C.
After its done baking, take it outside and let it rest for 10 minutes.
For Filling
Heat a vessel, add treacle, fresh cream, almond powder, bread crumbs, give it a mix and switch off the flame.
Transfer it to a bowl and let it cool down.
Add egg, salt, give a good mix and keep it aside.
