Toilet Paper Roll Craft DIY / Best out of Waste Craft!
Learn how to make DIY toilet paper roll / paper towel roll decorative basket craft with this easy step by step tutorial!
Materials you will need:
* Lots of Toilet paper rolls and paper towel rolls
* Hot Glue Gun
* Scissor
* Metallic acrylic paint of any color of your choice
* Paint brush
* Pearl beads
* Glue stick (optional)
Step by Step instructions on how to make a toilet paper roll decorative basket :
• Take lots of toilet paper rolls and paper towel rolls (both have been used for this project)
• Press and flatten the rolls
• Cut out strips of approximately 0.5 inch thickness (around 96 strips have been used for this craft)
• Paint the strips using a metallic acrylic paint (paint both inside and outside). To get better results apply two coats of paint
• Let the paint dry completely
• Now take a strip and fold it in half to form two petals
• Take three of these and glue them together to make a flower (with six mini petals)
• Make around 90 flowers
• Now for the base of the basket, glue together six strips to form a flower shape
• Glue the flowers to the base to form the shape of the basket (please note that you need to hold the flowers in place for a few seconds after applying hot glue to make sure they hold the shape)
• Continue glueing more flowers to the basket till you have your desired size.
• After the basket is done, glue pearl beads to the center of the flowers.
• Let it dry
• Clean any visible glue residue from the basket
• You have your beautiful decorative basket ready now!
