This method of binding off is the most common method. It has a little stretch and is a good method for beginners to learn first.
If you decide that you want to make a more decorative or stretchier finished edge at some point, then you can start to expand your binding-off repertoire 🙂
But until then, this technique will be appropriate for finishing most projects.
