Be it packing for lunch, or grabbing a quick bite. Frankie or Rolls, is something we all enjoy. Today, I am sharing a street style version of Veg Schezwan Frankie. Tibbs Brought in this flavor a few decades back, now it’s found everywhere in the street, be it Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, infact everywhere in India. A perfect spicy, garlicy and tangy twist to the already tasty aloo frankie. Hope you try my recipe and enjoy 🙂

Ingredients:
Rotis: Maida / Flour – 2/3 cupAtta – 1/3 cup
Salt – 1 tsp
Oil – 1 tbsp
Water – to knead a soft dough
Filling: Oil – 1 tbsp
Ginger – 1 inch (crushed)
Garlic – 4-5 cloves (crushed)
Green Chili – 2 (crushed)
Frankie Masala – 1 tbsp (more or less)
Schezwan Chutney : 1 tbsp (I used Chings)
Potatoes: 6 (Boiled, Peeled & Mashed)
Salt – as per taste
Coriander Leaves : 2tbsp Chopped
Assembling Ingredients – Chopped Onions, Cabbage, Coriander
Butter, Ketchup, Schezwan Chutney
Frankie masala, Rotis, Aloo Filling.

Frankie Masala (Street Style)

• Oil – 1/2 tsp
• Asafoetida – 1/8 tsp
• Black peppercorns- 1/4 tsp
• Cumin Seeds – 1/2 tsp
• Coriander Seeds – 1/2 tsp
• Anardana – 1 tsp
• Amchoor – 1 tsp
• Saunth Powder – 1/4 tsp
• Salt – 2 1/2 tsp
• Chilli Powder – 3
• Turmeric Powder 1/8 tsp

Roast all in pan for 2-3 mins, then grind to a powder using a dry grinder.
