Ingredients:
1 cup White Peas (soaked)
½ tsp Turmeric Powder
1 tsp Salt
1 ltr Water
6 Potato (boiled & peeled)
To Mashed Potato
½ tsp Turmeric Powder
½ tsp Cumin Seed Powder
1 tbsp Coriander Seed Powder
½ Lemon Juice
Coriander Leaves (chopped)
2 Green Chillies (chopped)
Salt
Ghee
For Sweet Chutney
½ cup Dates (seedless)
½ cup Jaggery
½ cup Tamarind
½ ltr Water
1 tsp Cumin Seeds Powder (roasted)
1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
½ tsp Dry Ginger Powder
Salt
For Green Chutney
1 cup Coriander Leaves
½ cup Mint Leaves
½ Lemon Juice
2 Green Chillies
1 Garlic Clove
Salt
Water
Curd (beaten)
Chaat Masala
Method: Let’s start with making the Ragda for which add Whites peas (soaked) poured in the Cooker with Turmeric Powder, Salt, Water now pressures cook it for 3 whistles and then on a slow flame for 20 minutes.
Next, in the meantime mash, the Potatoes (boiled & peeled) (as shown in the video) then add Turmeric Powder, Cumin Seed Powder, Coriander Seed Powder, Lemon Juice, Coriander leaves (chopped), Green Chillies (chopped) and Salt. Now mix it all together properly.
Next, shape the mixture into patties (as shown in the video) and fry them in the Pan with the Ghee. Next, let’s make Sweet Chutney for which add Dates (seedless) in Wok with Jaggery, Tamarind, Water, Cumin Seeds Powder (roasted), Red Chilli Powder, Dry Ginger Powder, and Salt.
Next, boil them nicely till tamarind and Dates gets soft.
Now let’s make Green Chutney for which add Coriander Leaves in the grinder with Mint Leaves, Lemon Juice, Green Chillies, Garlic Clove, and Salt then grind this with adding little water later.
Now take your Fried Patties into the Plate and remove the Green Chutney into the bowl.
Next, as the Sweet chutney boiled perfectly, remove them and grind them into nice chutney.
Now, as the Ragda is cooked properly take them out in the Serving bowl in which, add Two Pattice with Sweet Chutney, Green Chutney, Curd (beaten) and Chaat Masala.
Now your Ragda Pattice is ready to be enjoyed in this monsoon.
