Quick and easy breakfast | EASY BREAKFAST IDEA | QUICK BREAKFAST

This is seriously the quickest and most simple breakfast for those busy mornings when you’re running out the door. It’s a super easy breakfast idea. Never miss breakfast again with this quick fix meal/snack. No cooking involved-and they are so delicious!!! 

I know, sounds weird to have lettuce with breakfast right? Well, since romaine lettuce doesn’t really have any flavor, its really just for the texture and crunch factor. Trust me-really yummy.

 I have also made a variation of this where I chopped up the lettuce (like you would for a salad), put it in a bowl, added all the toppings and things I wanted, and made a dressing from date syrup, coconut cream and the almond butter. Put the dressing on the lettuce along with chopped banana, a mixed handful of nuts and seeds for a breakfast salad. Also yummy!

BREAKFAST BANANA BOAT INGREDIENTS:
1 banana peeled and sliced in half length wise.
Almond Butter (how ever much you’d like)
Chopped Dates (as many as you’d like for flavor and sweetness)
1-2 leaves of washed and dried Romaine Lettuce
Chopped nuts of your choice (some of the ones I usually use are pecans, walnuts, slivered almonds or hazelnuts).
(optional) seeds of your choice: Chia seeds, poppy seeds, or pumpkin seeds or sunflower seeds. 

HOW TO MAKE BREAKFAST BANANA BOATS:
1. Take 1 or 2 washed and dried lettuce leaves and put on a plate.
2. Peel banana and slice in half length wise.
3. Place sliced banana halves into the center of the romaine lettuce leaves.
4. Smother the banana halves with almond butter or any nut butter of your choice.
5. Chop or pull dates apart into small pieces and place onto the almond butter.
6. Top the “boat” with a variety of seeds and other nuts (optional).
7. Drizzle with honey or date syrup for added sweetness (optional).
8. Grab, go and ENJOY!!!
