Polyphasic Sleep Cycles – Uberman, Dymaxion, and Everyman Sleep Schedules

Polyphasic and biphasic sleep cycles are pretty underground in today’s culture, but they have profound benefits when it comes to putting them to use. The Uberman, Dymaxion, Everyman and other interesting sleeping patterns allow you to sleep less than the normal 8 hours per night. Only operating on 2 or 3 hours of sleep a night seemed impossible until we looked into it. According to NASA and the U.S. Military’s research, you can take naps throughout the day at any time as long as they add up to 8 hours. This may be disorientating at first, but your body will get the hang of it after a couple weeks. Always make sure to check with your doctor before modifying any major sleep schedules.
