Ingredients:
For Masala
2 tbsp Oil
3 Onions, sliced
3 Garlic cloves, chopped
1 inch Ginger, chopped
5 Cloves
8 Black Peppercorns
1/2 inch Cinnamon
1 cup Coconut, grated
1 tsp Red Chilli powder
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
1 tsp Garam Masala powder
1 Tomato, chopped
Tamarind, cherry-sized
Water as required
For Omelette
4 Eggs
Coriander
1/2 cup Onions, finely chopped
2 Green Chillies, finely chopped
Salt to taste
Oil for frying
For Omelette Curry:
2-3 tbsp Oil
Masala
1/2 ltr Water
Salt to taste
Method of preparation:
For Masala
Heat oil in a vessel, add onions and fry them.
Add garlic, ginger, cloves, black peppercorns, cinnamon, coconut, fry them well.
Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, mix well.
Add tomato, fry it for a minute, add tamarind, cool it down and grind it well.
Add water while grinding to adjust the consistency.
For Omelette
Beat eggs, add coriander, onions, green chillies, salt, mix well.
Heat oil in a pan, pour half the mixture and let it cook on both sides.
Add the remaining mixture and make the second one.
Cut the omelet into strips.
For Omelette Curry:
Heat oil in a vessel, add masala and fry it for 2-3 minutes.
Add water, salt, give a boil to the curry, add the omelette strips and boil it for a minute.
Our Omelette Curry is ready.
