We use mobile phones to communicate with other people but these devices also give us access to the Internet, a virtual space with lots of potential, and also rules. Think about what you write online, virtual is real. Messages about you or the others, represent you; and they are as real as a face-to-face conversation. Adding to that, we should be particularly careful with the information and photos we share and upload. Not only because of their content itself but also because this content is likely to be shared or uploaded by others, and stay online for a long time. Lastly, it is important to be mindful of how much time you spend using your phone and set time limits with the help of an adult, especially when you’re with your friends; then it’s best if you switched it off.
