ingredients:
1 cup whole moong dal
3/4 inch ginger
2 green chilies
5 shallots/cheriya ulli/button onion (has vitamin c, vitamin A, vitamin B6, potassium, iron, manganese folic acid etc and helps to control cholesterol)
1/2 tsp jeera
1/2 tsp methi seeds (very good for diabetics)
1 sprig curry leaves (high in iron, folic acid etc)
1/4 tsp hing/kayam
1/2 cup + 1/4 cup water
1/2 tsp pink himalayan salt
ghee: 1/4 – 1/2 tsp for each dosa.

Moong dal has a rich source of manganese, potassium, magnesium, folate, copper, zinc, and B vitamins. They are very filling and high in protein, resistant starch, and dietary fiber.
