* Let us have a look at a stepwise procedure of the Mermaid braid and try doing it by yourself:
Step 1: Begin by brushing your hair out well and divide the hair into 2 sections.
Step 2: Now start braiding from the outer side of the hair and take both the sections inside. This would be the base of the hairstyle.
Step 3: Start doing the reverse by taking the inner section of the hair and go outwards.
Step 4: Once you are done, leave the right section of your hair and start doing a fish reverse braid. You can do this by dividing it into 2 sections and making a braid by going from the inner corner to the outer corner.
Step 5: Continue till the end of the hair and secure it with a rubber band.
Step 6: Now take the hair that you left on the right side and make a reverse fish braid with it similar to the left side. Fasten it with a rubber band.
Step 7: You can join the 2 braids with a U pin so that they stay in place. With this you are done with the Mermaid braid!
