Hands and feet, which are exposed to the harsh environment daily, need care and nurturing on a daily basis. Pamper them to keep them looking healthy and young.
In the hot summer, when fungal infections are more likely to be rampant, you need to ensure that your feet are always clean and dry, especially if wearing closed shoes. You can do this by drying your feet thoroughly after a bath, then sprinkling lightly an anti-fungal powder.
Make sure you step out of your home only after applying a body sunblock to your hands and feet, to ensure they do not tan.
As a nightly ritual, softly rub a solution of two parts rose water to one part glycerine. Leave it on for about 10 minutes, then gently scrub the feet with a pumice stone. Now soak your feet for 5-10 minutes in a tub of warm water to which some salt and petroleum jelly has been added, and wipe dry thoroughly. You can massage your feet with a tiny bit of ghee before going to bed.
Take 2 tlbsp of olive oil (or any baby oil).
Add 1 tsp of finely granulated sugar.
Mix this very well.
Use this scrub gently on your hands and feet for 2-3 minutes.
Rinse it off with water.

Take a tsp each of petroleum jelly and castor oil.
