La reina de las nieves (Snedronningen) es un cuento escrito por Hans Christian Andersen. Fue publicado por primera vez en el año 1845, y se centra en la lucha entre el bien y el mal vivida por dos niños, Kay y Gerda.
El cuento es considerado por estudiosos, críticos y lectores por uno de las mejores obras de Andersen, siendo a la vez uno de sus más extensos escritos. Se incluye regularmente entre los cuentos seleccionados y colecciones de su trabajo, además de ser reimpreso con frecuencia en ediciones de libros de cuentos ilustrados para niños.
La historia ha sido adaptada en diversos medios de comunicación, incluyendo, dramas televisivos, videojuegos y películas de animación entre la que destacan las películas, La reina de las nieves (en ruso: Snezhnaya koroleva), dirigida por Lev Atamanov, la cual desfilo en los festivales de Berlín, Cannes, Moscú y Londres y Frozen, de Walt Disney, estrenada en noviembre de 2013; ganadora de dos Premios Óscar.
