JOKER: Psychological Analysis | Psychology in Hindi
Joker is one of the most popular and iconic super-villains in not only the DC universe but in the fantasy genre in general. The Joker is portrayed as a criminal mastermind who is nihilistic and has a sadistic sense of humor. In the comics, Joker sometimes works with other villains of Gotham city but these relationships don’t last long due to Joker’s insatiable desire for creating chaos. His main aim throughout all comics and movies has been to make other people realize that deep down they are as evil as him and all they need is just a little push. With his manipulation, Joker turned his psychiatrist Harleen Frances Quinzel into Harley Quinn, made Commissioner Gordon go crazy and led Harvey Dent to believe that being nice in this cruel world isn’t worth it. Joker represents a part of us that is so primordial but can be accessed at any time when needed. This subconscious relatability with the character makes it really interesting to have a deep psychological analysis and understand why he is the way he is.
