Hi, I’m Lisa (?). I’m one of the founding partners of Nava NYC: A collective of Nine yoga and meditation teachers in New York city. Our website is www.navanyc.com. Today, I will be talking to you about meditation. Ohm is said to be the original sound of the universe. It means everything, and it means nothing. It is composed of three parts. Ah. Oh. Mm. And it represents the beginning, the middle, and the end. When meditating in the sound of Om, you’re using it like a mantra. And when you use a mantra, it becomes part of you.

So, you’re going to make the sound externally, and then you’re going to bring it internally. So inhale. Ohm. Ohm. … You keep repeating the sound of Ohm after you inhale, and you exhale in your mind, and you say Ohm. You inhale, then you exhale the sound of Ohm. And it keeps you focused on what you’re doing. And if you find that you’ve wandered off somewhere, just come back to the sound of Ohm. Ohm.
