Learn how to test a market through the clever placements of advertisements for products that have not yet been developed or manufactured. In the $100 Startup, Chris gives an example of a guy who did just this. He placed an advertisement for a sports car information product and received 2 orders by the end of the ad run. He effectively tested his market and made a profit of $1500, however he had no product to give them. He spent the next month creating this product and gave it to them for some happy customers.
