Stay-stitch on 2 mm and 8 mm from the finish line (edge of the cuff and neckline).
This is a rough guideline actually, fine adjustment is required depending on the type of fabric and also inward or outward curve.
To gather amount to be uniform with drawing the thread of stay-stitch.
