How to say, “I love you.” To say, “I love you,” . . . this one’s a very popular Polish term that everybody knows. You say, “Kocham cie (kohaaam chye). Kocham cie (kohaaam chye).” It’s two words: (ko-haaam), like ham, but haaam, (ko-haaam chye). There’s a little accent on the end of the word there (chye). Kocham cie (kohaaam chye). At full speed, it sounds like this, “Kocham cie (kohaaam chye).” Go ahead, tell me, “I love you.” “Kocham cie (kohaaam chye).” Nice. Now, let’s get to the nitty and gritty. If you wanna say, “I am in love with you,” you say: “Jestem w tobie zokochana (yes-tem v tobye za-ko-hah-na).” That’s how a girl would say it to a guy. “Jestem w tobie zokochana (yes-tem v tobye za-ko-hah-na).” Let’s break this down. “Jestem (yes-tem) w (v) to (to) bie (bye) zo (za) ko (ko) cha (hah) na (na).” Again, little faster: “Jestem w tobie zokochana (yes-tem v tobye za-ko-hah-na).” At full speed, “Jestem w tobie zokochana (yes-tem v tobye za-ko-hah-na).” Try it. Great.

Now, if you wanna say it to a female, you say, “Jestem w tobie zakochany (yes-tem v tobye za-ko-hah-ny).” So, all you do is you just change the a to a y. One more time, “Jestem w tobie zakochany (yes-tem v tobye za-ko-hah-ny).” “Jestem w tobie zakochany (yes-tem v tobye za-ko-hah-ny).” Guys, try this one out, you need it. Perfect. “Jestem w tobie zakochana (yes-tem v tobye za-ko-hah-ha),” “Jestem w tobie zakochany (yes-tem v tobye za-ko-hah-ny).” That’s great.

Now, if you wanna tone it down a little bit and just say, “I really like you,” or “I like you a lot,” you say, “Ja cie bardzo lubie (ya chye bar-dzo loo-byeh).” It’s four words, “Ja (ya) cie (chye) bardzo (bar-dzo) lubie (loo-byeh). Ja cie bardzo lubie (ya chye bar-dzo loo-byeh).” There’s that little accent at the end of lubie (loo-byeh).” Ja cie bardzo lubie (ya chye bar-dzo loo-byeh).” Take your time, but give it a try. Great. “Ja cie bardzo lubie (ya-chye bar-dzo loo-byeh).”

And those are a couple different ways to say, “I love you.”
