How to Propagate Purple Flower Plant “Mona Lavender” or “Plectranthus” WITH UPDATE //GREEN PLANTS.

Mona Lavender is a best choice for a low water garden, and also a good selection for planting in shady outdoor or garden ground or border planting.
It can be propagated by cuttings and the best time to propagate this plant is in late summer or September to November months.These plants prefer average moisture with well-drained soil and grown well in partial shady areas.

Propagating Mona lavender in very easy. Just take some cuttings from the mother plant and put them in a glass of water or plant them in coco peat.
Keep the soil moist and place them in shade place until the cuttings are growing strongly.
After two weeks cuttings will be rooted strongly and we can transplant them in potting soil or mixture of garden soil and coco peat and also soil should be well drained.

After transplanting the Mona lavender plants, water them once in a week and do not keep them in standing water.
Mona lavender doesn’t require any special fertilizer but we can use houseplant food or liquid fertilizer to get more growth and blooming.
Pinching off new stem tips will promote branching,flowers grow at the tips of new branches and we can get more blooms.
