How to Propagate African Violet From Single Leaf WITH UPDATE – 100% SUCCESS METHOD //GREEN PLANTS.

African violets are beautiful houseplants that produce clusters of white, pink, or purple flowers and it will also grow and bloom with lower bright indirect light.

Propagating African violet plants is very easy.
We can propagate the African violet from leaf cuttings or from seed.In this video i’m showing the African violet leaf cutting propagation.

Method to propagate African violet plant
– Simply cut the healthy leaf with the leaf stem which should be trimmed to about half inch or one inch.
– And then insert the leaf stem into the growing medium, then
– water it thoroughly.
– Keep it in shady and bright light place and also keep the soil lightly moist and avoid getting the leaves wet, as they are susceptible to rot.
– Water the plants, use room temperature & fresh water.
– After 4 to 8 weeks we can see the new leaves and plants appear at the base of the leaf stem.
– Then we can re-pot the plants.

Soil mixture to re-pot the African violet plant
–Coco peat or Peat moss
–Sand
–Compost or composted cow manure(optional)
