How to keep your vegetables fresher longer | HOW TO SAVE MONEY BY REDUCING FOOD WASTE

In this video I’ll show you how I’m able to make my produce last up to two weeks in the fridge after they have been washed, dried and cut. This has helped our family save a ton of money over the years as well as helped to eliminate waste completely. Fruits and vegetables don’t usually don’t last that long in our fridge though.
Now if you don’t have a serger or a regular sewing machine-have no fear! You can just as easily use washcloths that have not been altered. Just make sure whatever material you’re using in your bowls with your fruits and veggies, that it is an absorbent material. Synthetic fabrics will not work. 100% cotton, bamboo or hemp fabrics are my favorite. Linked below are the sewing supplies I used in this tutorial as well as links to some other materials you may be interested in. As always, If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. We’re more than happy to help. Thanks so much for watching and subscribing-we really appreciate our viewers and subscribers.
