Growing dwarf variety pineapple at home with in a year
*Separate the crown from the fresh fruit
*Allow to dry for few days
*After dried remove the small lower leaves from stalk
*Place it in water for two weeks and change water every three days
*Keep it in bright light place
*After 15 days we can see the roots are developed
*Potting the rooted pineapple stalk

Potting mix/Soil
*Soil must be loose and well-drained
*Soil mixture coco peat or peat moss or vermiculite and sand
*Add some natural compost

Re Potting
*Once pineapple has firmly rooted, it will begin growing new leaves from the center
*it’s time to re-pot it
*we can re-pot the plant in a 10 inch to 12 inch pot
*Soil -use a rich but fast draining potting mix

Water and Fertilizer
*Water only as needed
*Water once or twice in a week
*Avoid overwatering to prevent root rot
*Apply organic fertilizer for every two months during the growing period
*Keep the plant in full sun to partial shade place
*After about 6-7 months the fruits appear
