How to Draw Drawing Hands

Based on M.C.Escher’s famous drawing illusion, drawing Hands.

I use a 4B pencil for this drawing. If you have a go, I found that the point of the pencil needs to look 3D and it is drawing the wrist of the other hand, which is just shown in line. Some shadow helps, as does turning the drawing around half way through.
