How To Apply Black CHERRY LIPSTICK Tutorial

The black cherry lip color has been rocking the runways for a while now. One of the boldest colors for lips and you need to know how to work this color in your favor.
Steps for Black Cherry Makeup & Lipstick:

# Prep the face with moisturizer and the face primer.

# Apply the foundation. Start by dabbing the foundation under the eyes and blending it out onto the cheeks and then the rest of the face. Ensure you get an even application. Use a good foundation brush for this.

# Use a bronzer and contour the cheekbones. Press the brush into the cheekbones till you can feel them for better application. Fill in the brows with a brow pencil in the color that matches your brows.

# Groom them with a spoolie brush.

# Use a thin foundation brush and line the top and bottom of the brows and blend in. This helps define the brows.

#Use a neutral brown eye shadow and start filling in the eyelids from the crease and blend it into the V of the outer eye.

# Then blend in to fill in the rest of the eyelid. Use a silver eye shadow on the center of the eyelid with the help of your finger.

# Coat the lashes with mascara.

# Now bring out the black cherry lipstick and start lining the cupids bow area with a lip brush. If you are just beginning, use a lip liner in the same color as the lipstick to line the lips.

# Remember to start with the cupids bow area and then draw out the lines to connect the lips. Fill in the lips with the black cherry lipstick. Use the brush to ensure even application.

# If you spill some of the color out of the lip, use a foundation around the lip lines to correct it. Since we are using a bold lip color here, keep rest of the makeup very neutral, as we only want the lip color to be the hero in this look.
