A combination of green tea and egg yolk and mustard powder works to reduce hair fall and bring life back into your hair. Green tea stimulates hair growth and softens the hair. It contains polyphenols, Vitamin E and Vitamin C, which are known to boost lustrous hair. There are many other compounds found in green tea like carotenoids, tocopherols, zinc, chromium, ascorbic acid, selenium and manganese aid to avert hair loss while boosting hair re-growth.
For the hair mask you need:
•2 TABLESPOONS FRESH GREEN TEA (STRONG)
•1 TABLESPOON MUSTARD POWDER
•1 EGG YOLK
Mix all ingredients together until you reach a creamy consistency. If it becomes too thick, add more green tea. Apply mixture to the hair generously from root to tip. Cover hair with a shower cap or cling wrap. Leave in for approximately 15 to 25 minutes. Your head will feel slightly warm, as the mustard helps to increase the blood circulation to the scalp. Rinse and shampoo as normal.
This homemade hair mask is very effective for stimulating healthy hair growth if you suffer from thinning hair and hair loss. Use this treatment three to four times per week to create long, thick and luxurious hair.
