* Let us have a look at a stepwise procedure of the French fish tail shell braid listed below:
Step 1: Start by combing the hair well and take 3 sections from the crown area to make a French braid.
Step 2: Create the first stitch and from the second stitch onwards make the French braid.
Step 3: Continue to make the braid until you reach the mid section of the hair. Remember to leave a section of your hair at the back and do not take the entire hair for the French braid.
Step 4: Now take the remaining hair that was left loose and merge it with the French braid. Secure it with a rubber band.
Step 5: bring the hair to the front that you tied up and make a fish tail braid out of it. You can do this by dividing the hair into 2 sections. Overlap a part of the first section over the other alternatively and vice-versa until you reach the end of the ponytail.
Step 6: Once you are done, loosen the fish tail braid out a bit. Then twirl up the braid into a bun that looks like a shell and secure with bobby pins. Voila! The French fish tail shell braid is ready.
