DIY FAUX FRENCH BRAID Tutorial

The Foux French braid does sound new doesn’t it? What do mean by the term faux? Well, this means a replica of something or an imitation in simple words. The Faux French braid is very similar to the basic French braid but not so intricate. You can play around a bit with this hairstyle without getting into too much of detailing while doing the braid. For beginners who love braids, they must try out the faux French hairdo!

* Let us go through some simple steps that would show you how to do a Faux French braid in no time:

Step 1: Begin by first brushing your hair out well and take a fairly good section of the crown area.

Step 2: Divide the hair into 3 sections and start making a regular braid with it until you reach the end. Fasten it with a rubber band.

Step 3: Now take a small section of your hair from the right side and take it through the first stitch of the hair.

Step 4: Then go onto the left side and a take a small section of your hair from the front. Pull it through the first stitch like you did earlier.

Step 5: Continue the same process with either sides going down each stitch.

Step 6: Once you finish braiding, tie the rest of the hair that is left loose into a ponytail. With this we come to the end of the foux French braid!

* Uses:

The Faux French braid is unique in its own way because it is not as intricate as the original French braid. It is faster to make and does give the braid a nice new look by the end.

If you are someone who does not like too much of detailing then the Faux French braid is the one for you!
