Wax seals are one of the foremost things that we remember when asked about our history. The thought of simple wax protecting all the secret messages from prying eyes have always held our attention. And of course, we all would have, at some point in time, wanted to seal a letter or envelope with wax ourselves. But, just how to accomplish that? It isn’t easy to get our hands on a sealing wax, and neither is it easy to figure out the workings of that wax. So here we are, with a simple tutorial on how to make a wax seal out of crayons. After all, everyone has crayons hidden in their houses.

Method:
1. Take a crayon and carefully remove the outer wrapper.
2. Break the crayon into several tiny pieces.
3. Place a piece of crayon in the middle of the envelope and the closing flap.
4. Use a hot glue gun to melt the crayon by placing the hot glue gun against the crayon.
5. Use two or three small pieces of crayon until the melted wax is wide and thick enough.
6. Carefully, move the gun around to spread the wax into a circle shape.
7. Now, carefully, place the wax seal stamp upside down on the melted wax and press down.
8. After a moment, carefully remove the stamp.
9. Let the wax cool. Voila! Your wax sealed envelopes are ready to be posted.
Tips:
1. Make sure to place the letter inside the envelope before sealing it.
2. Use a thicker envelope to prevent tearing.
3. Use safety gloves to prevent the hot glue or wax on your hands.
