Layers of the Earth – Science for Kids – Compilation
Educational video for children to learn about the layers of the earth: the atmosphere, the biosphere, the hydrosphere and the geosphere. The atmosphere is the outermost layer of the earth and is divided into five different layers: troposphere, stratosphere, mesosphere, thermosphere and exosphere. There are two more layers further down, the biosphere and the hydrosphere. The biosphere is the layer where we find the living organisms and ecosystems (the woods, the jungles, the savannah, the desert or the tundra). The hydrosphere is made up of water and covers 3/4 of the planet. Lastly, the inner layer of the earth is the geosphere which is divided into the crust, the mantle and the core. This video is a compilation of the various layers of the earth and a wonderful resource for elementary school education.
