Are you in a controlling relationship? Controlling relationships can be hard to spot, especially when you’re in one. Control is actually a form of emotional abuse that can cause permanent damage to the person’s psyche and mental health, as well as the relationship itself. Being in a controlling relationship for a long amount of time can also increase the likelihood of depression, low self-esteem, and anxiety, so it’s important to identify the signs.
