Honey as you all might be aware of is that it helps in reducing weight and at the same time gives you beautiful glowing skin. How about spinach and tofu as a snack? Spinach is a great source of vitamin k, iron, copper, Vitamin B12 etc. Tofu on the other hand is loved by one and all. 1. SPINACH AND TOFU DIP:

Ingredients: For this mouth watering snack, you will need- 2 Scallions that are coarsely chopped, 1 garlic clove peeled, 10 ounces of frozen spinach thawed and squeezed dry, 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne, ¼ pound silken tofu, 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, Sesame oil(Optional) and 1 tablespoon soya sauce.

Step 1: Once you have all these ingredients in place begin by first combining all these ingredients into a blender and process until you get a smooth paste.

Step 2: Now transfer this mixture into a bowl and serve this dip with some fresh raw vegetables. There you go! The spinach and tofu dip is ready.

2. HOME MADE HUMMUS RECIPE:

Ingredients: You will need chickpeas (Garbanzo beans), some water, lemon juice, Roasted sesame seed paste, garlic pods, salt, some chili flakes, olive oil, toasted pine nuts and some parsley leaves.

Step 1: Begin the process for making this delicious hummus by first adding some chickpeas into the blender and pouring in about 4-5 teaspoons of water into it.

Step 2: Now go onto adding in about a ¼ cup of fresh lime juice along with ¼ cup of roasted sesame seed paste or better known as Tahini.

Step 3: Continue adding in the other ingredients like- Crushed garlic, ½ teaspoon of salt, some chili flakes, 3 tablespoons of olive oil, 1 tablespoon of toasted pine nuts and last but not the least fresh parsley leaves.

Step 4: Blend all these ingredients well until the texture becomes smooth. You can also add some olive oil if required.

Step 5: Remove the hummus into a bowl and garnish with some chili flakes and pour in some olive oil. Sprinkle with paprika and there you go! You have the lip smacking hummus ready to be served.

3. HONEY GLAZED ALMONDS SNACK RECEIPE:

Ingredients: In order to make this healthy snack you will need- 1 ½ cups of unbalanced almonds, 1 tablespoon of sugar, 1 ½ tablespoons of honey, ½ a teaspoon of ground chipotle Chile powder, ¼ teaspoon of ground cumin and about ¼ teaspoon of salt.

Step 1: Once you have all the ingredients in place, begin the preparation by first lining a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2: Now take a non stick skillet and place the almonds in it.

Step 3: Cook the almonds over medium heat for about 6 minutes or until you find them to be lightly toasted. Remember to shake the pan frequently so that they are cooked evenly.

Step 4: Go onto combining the rest of the ingredients in a 2 cup glass measure and microwave it on HIGH for 30 seconds.

Step 5: Now add some honey to the pan and cook for about 2 minutes stirring continuously.

Step 6: In the end, arrange the almond mixture on the baking sheet prepared by you in a single layer. Let it stand for 10 minutes and if you find any clusters, break them apart. Voila! Your very own honey roasted almonds is ready to be savored.
