Hi, I’m Jenny Lynch and I’m here to talk about the houses. When you look at a horoscope, we break it up into twelve different sections. And so the First House is the House of the Self. And every single house in the chart actually means something different. So, the First House is the House of the Self. It’s your personality, how other people see you, it’s your early part of life, your very early childhood, your birth. The Second House represents money – how you make it, how you earn it, and also freedom. Freedom comes with money, so the ability to earn the money, it also gives you a certain amount of freedom, right? And, it also deals with any kind of value system that you have.
The Third House deals with brothers and sisters, your neighborhood, your car, commuting, transportation, and your mind, the way you think. The Fourth House rules your mother, your father, your family, your home, the end of life, the conditions at the end of life, and also real estate. The Fifth House rules your children, your love affairs, your talents, things that give your pleasure and amuse you. The Sixth House rules your health, your daily activities, your routines, what you do everyday. It also rules your coworkers. The Seventh House rules all your partnerships – your business partnerships, you romantic partnerships, marriage, your clientele. It also rules lawyers, legal battles. The Eighth House, rules joint finances, sex, death, and transformation.
The way you challenge yourself is often shown by the Eighth House. The Ninth House rules philosophy, higher learning, foreign things, massive travel, long-distance travel, and publishing. The Tenth House rules your career, your professional standing, how others see you in society, and also the contributions that you bring to life. The Eleventh House is a house of groups, future wishes and goals, and friends. It’s also the house of networking. The Twelfth House is the house of retreat, things you do behind the scene, it’s your house of dreams, the unconscious mind, things that are hidden, things that you can’t see, and also secret enemies. And those are the twelve house and what they mean!
